Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX) officially filed its S-1 registration statement today to go public on Nasdaq, marking one of the most anticipated IPO filings in market history. The proposed offering is being led by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, Citigroup, and J.P. Morgan, alongside one of the largest underwriting syndicates assembled for a public offering in recent memory.

The filing formally launches what is expected to become one of the most closely followed IPO processes the market has seen in years, and IPO Prophet will be providing extensive coverage throughout the offering process leading up to pricing and public trading.

Over the coming weeks, our coverage will include proprietary IPO ratings, deep-dive research, valuation analysis, roadshow observations, investor sentiment tracking, syndicate and allocation developments, market intelligence, and ongoing “street color” surrounding institutional demand and positioning.

SpaceX enters the public markets as far more than a traditional aerospace company. The filing outlines a vertically integrated platform spanning reusable launch systems, Starlink’s global satellite broadband infrastructure, satellite-to-mobile communications, defense and government applications, and artificial intelligence following the integration of xAI and Grok.

According to the filing, SpaceX currently operates approximately 9,600 Starlink satellites and serves roughly 10.3 million subscribers across 164 countries and markets. The company also stated that it has launched more than 80% of global mass-to-orbit payloads since 2023 using its Falcon launch systems.

As the IPO process develops, investors are expected to focus heavily on valuation, Starlink monetization, AI integration, launch economics, infrastructure scalability, government exposure, and overall institutional demand dynamics as one of the world’s largest and most ambitious private companies prepares to enter the public markets.

At IPO Prophet, our focus will extend beyond headlines and offering terms. We aim to provide continuous intelligence surrounding the transaction, including real-time developments throughout the roadshow, pricing process, and eventual public debut.

The SpaceX IPO process is now officially underway, and coverage begins immediately.
