U.S. IPO & Equity Capital Markets Brief 9/07/2026
Coverage: Traditional U.S. operating-company IPOs and consequential ECM transactions of at least $100 million
1. Executive Summary
The post–Labor Day week begins without a qualifying launched deal, final range or live institutional book. The absence of supply may concentrate attention on the next launch, but it provides no evidence on book coverage or first-day price discovery.
Oura, Accelevation Holdings, SB Energy, Wella Company and ADARx Pharmaceuticals now have public registration statements, while Syntiant and Cumberland Farms recently refreshed their filings. None has disclosed final terms. Separately, Anthropic is now reported to be targeting a mid-October IPO launch, moving the expected listing into Q4.
2. Active Qualifying IPO Calendar
| Issuer | Expected timing | Price range | Shares / offer | Exchange | Underwriters |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No qualifying IPOs | No qualifying deal scheduled | — | — | — | — |
IPO Prophet® rating. No rating is assigned because no qualifying deal has launched. A credible setup requires the range, share count, seller mix, tradable float and roadshow demand.
3. Market Structure and First-Day Read-Through
Float and scarcity. A zero-deal week creates calendar scarcity, not issuer scarcity. The next launch must pair a disciplined float with verified institutional coverage.
Institutional demand. Public filings establish readiness but do not demonstrate book strength, price insensitivity or crossover participation.
Momentum and FOMO. AI infrastructure, power and consumer health are prominent themes, but range behavior, deal revisions and the opening auction must confirm excess demand.
Timing. The first terms amendments after Labor Day will show whether issuers are prepared to test valuation immediately or wait for a cleaner macro tape.
4. Pipeline Developments
Oura (OURA). Public S-1 filed September 3 for Nasdaq. Revenue rose 74% to $1.21 billion for the nine months ended June 30 and net income reached $60.8 million. Valuation, seller supply, subscription quality and final float will define the setup.
Accelevation Holdings (ACCV). Public S-1 filed September 2 for Nasdaq. The data-center power-distribution theme is supportive, but leverage, proceeds use, customer concentration and float will determine execution.
SB Energy (SBE). Public S-1 filed August 31 for Nasdaq and Nasdaq Texas. The AI-infrastructure narrative and backlog are powerful demand anchors; duration, concentration and capital intensity are the principal risks.
Wella Company (WELA). Public S-1 filed August 31 for NYSE. Established beauty brands and improved profitability support interest, while leverage, valuation and secondary supply will drive price sensitivity.
ADARx Pharmaceuticals (ADRX). Public S-1 filed September 4 for Nasdaq. Clinical credibility, crossover support, cash runway and final float will determine whether the RNA-therapeutics deal can create durable scarcity.
Anthropic — timing shifts to Q4. Anthropic is reported to be targeting a mid-October IPO launch, with a public prospectus anticipated in late September and completion potentially before the November elections. Its SEC submission remains confidential, so it is not part of the public-filed Q3 watchlist below. The Q4 setup will turn on valuation discipline, primary and secondary supply, tradable float, institutional price sensitivity and whether AI-driven FOMO survives the opening auction. Timing remains subject to market conditions and has not been confirmed by Anthropic.
